WARMCO SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

These safety instructions apply to all WARMCO heated garments and WARMCO‑supplied power banks. Please read carefully before use to ensure safe operation and long product life.

1. Important Safety Warnings

WARMCO heated garments contain electronic heating elements, wiring, and connectors. To ensure safe use:

• Use only certified 5V power banks supplied by WARMCO or approved equivalents

• Do not use fast‑charging, high‑voltage, or damaged power banks

• Do not expose the garment or battery to water while powered

• Do not sleep while wearing the garment with the heating function turned on

• Do not leave the garment unattended while heating

• Stop using the garment immediately if any unusual heat, smell, swelling, or malfunction occurs

2. Using Your WARMCO Power Bank

WARMCO supplies certified 5V power banks sourced from trusted manufacturers.

To use safely:

• Inspect the battery before each use

• Ensure the casing is not cracked, swollen, or leaking

• Use only standard 5V charging bricks (no fast‑charge or high‑wattage chargers)

• Keep the battery away from moisture, heat sources, and direct sunlight

• Disconnect the battery when not in use

• Store the battery in a cool, dry place

3. Connecting the Garment

1. Ensure the garment is dry

2. Place the power bank fully inside the pocket

3. Connect the USB cable securely

4. Turn the garment on using the control button

5. Adjust heat levels as needed

Never force connectors or bend wiring aggressively.

4. Washing & Care Instructions

To protect the heating system:

• Always disconnect and remove the power bank before washing
• Hand‑wash or gentle‑machine‑wash only

• Do not wring, twist, or stretch the garment

• Do not tumble dry

• Air‑dry only

• Do not iron or expose to direct heat sources

Incorrect washing may damage the heating system and void the warranty.

5. Storage Instructions

When storing your heated garment:

• Remove the power bank

• Store the garment flat or hung

• Keep away from moisture

• Keep the battery at 40–60% charge for long‑term storage

• Avoid extreme temperatures

6. Children & Vulnerable Users

Heated garments should be used with caution around:

• Children

• Elderly individuals

• People with reduced heat sensitivity

• People with circulation issues

Supervision is recommended.

7. Do Not Use If…

Stop using the garment immediately if:

• Wiring is exposed

• Heating pads feel unevenly hot

• The battery is swollen or damaged

• The garment has been submerged while powered

• You notice burning smells or unusual heat

8. Battery Disposal

Do not dispose of batteries in household rubbish. Take them to an approved battery recycling point or e‑waste facility.

• WARMCO is not liable for damage, injury, or loss resulting from misuse, incorrect operation, unauthorised modifications, or use with non‑approved power banks

• WARMCO is not responsible for damage caused by external heat sources, water exposure, or failure to follow care instructions

• WARMCO is not responsible for issues arising from third‑party chargers, fast‑charging devices, or unsafe charging practices

• WARMCO‑supplied batteries are sourced from overseas manufacturers and tested before dispatch; battery lifespan may vary with use

• Improper use may void your warranty and pose a safety risk

Nothing in this disclaimer limits your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
